Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Manager Contracts Administration 2 to lead the GATOR production program with US Marine Corp at the Baltimore, Maryland facility. The selected candidate will report directly to the Business Unit Contracts Manager within the Land and Maritime Sensors Business Unit of the Maritime/Land Systems & Sensors Division.
Successful management candidate will:
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to direct reports in the Operating Units.
Support the administration of contracts which includes the following responsibilities : ensures compliance with all contractual requirements, interprets contract requirements for program and functional leadership, drafts formal correspondence.
Ability to advise all levels of management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Responsible for direct reports’ performance in all facets of contracts administration support.
Serve as the primary interface with the customer as necessary.
Facilitate the proposal review process and ensure internal reviews are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Build and lead a team of highly motivated and effective contracts professionals.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 9+ years or a Master’s degree with 7+ years and 3+ years of relevant Contracts experience
Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve contract objectives
Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to obtain US Secret level government security clearance.
Knowledge of ability to use SAP
Proven leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to mentor and train assigned staff
Proposal development and negotiation skills and the ability to build strong customer relations
