Pride Health is seeking candidates for a Medical Assistant opportunity based in Rome, GA. This is a 3-month assignment.
Shift Schedule: Day
Days Per Week: 5.00
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, and other patient care procedures.
- Maintain established quality control standards.
- Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately
- Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies.
- Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Maintains quality control standards and required Medical Assistant certification.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
- Recognized/certified as a CMA or RMA
