The position requires the incumbent to perform a variety of administrative, fiscal and technical functions requiring considerable knowledge of a technical and professional nature. The incumbent would utilize multi-tasking and management abilities to meet crucial deadlines and work diligently to complete assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Completes the daily fuel reconciliation process for all Gadsden County fuel sites.
* Maintains records of all fuel sites in accordance with federal EPA, state, and local requirements.
* Maintains fuel inventory at all county fuel sites: including ordering fuel, issuing pro keys and monthly billing utilizing the RTA Fuel System and Fuel Master software.
* Conducts a fuel tank and system leak testing program.
* Procurement of supplies, equipment and parts in accordance to Gadsden County procurement policy when required by the Fleet Manager.
* Order, receive parts, verify invoices, input data and maintain parts inventory.
* Research, analyze and compile data for reports.
* Meet and communicate with current or parts vendors.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to maintain appropriate records, inventories, etc. Knowledgeable of warehousing principles and practices, including inventory control and purchase requisition procedures. Knowledgeable of office automation programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access. Ability to research, analyze and compile data. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with County staff, external agencies and the general public. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Knowledgeable of the software program and functions of the RTA Fuel Master system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires an Associate of Arts Degree and four years of experience working in a fast paced office setting. Experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year to year basis. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the use of the RTA Fuel Master System and Fuel Master software.
