Sun Health is looking for a big-hearted, invested, and thorough Maintenance Supervisor to join our vibrant team at La Loma Village in Litchfield Park, AZ.

Supervises and coordinates the activities of the maintenance employees in maintaining and repairing physical structures of the building, grounds and utility systems. This is a safety sensitive position.

Compensation: Hourly and eligible for overtime pay.

Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

· Supervise all work performed by maintenance and landscape personnel on a daily basis.

· Assigns work orders to maintenance staff and ensure they are completed.

· Interprets company policies and procedures to department employees and enforces safety regulations.

· Suggests changes in the use of equipment to increase efficiency of work.

· Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in resolving work problems.

· Maintains time and production records.

· Responsible for scheduling all time off with staff and ensuring they do not conflict with one another.

· Responsible for all work done in Resident units.

· Responsible for ordering the proper amount of supplies for the department with the approval of the department Director.

· Establish and maintain good inter-department working relationships and with residents.

· Respond to emergency situations.

· Available for On-Call rotation and assist with after-hour calls.

· Establish and maintain good working relations with outside vendors.

· Able to use and maintain the following equipment: carpet cleaning; lawnmowers and hedge clippers; vacuum cleaners; and maintenance tools.

· Participate in Life Safety program to include emergency preparedness audits and surveys.

· Demonstrate the Sun Health Vibrant Living culture and provides all customers/audience with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating Sun Health behaviors (the 6 Cs) each and every day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.36 - $20.27 per hour

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Facility Management: 1 year (Preferred)

• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain (Preferred)
