POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for administrating the management of repair and maintenance of NexTier equipment. This position is responsible for receiving and entering work orders, scheduling maintenance on equipment, following up on equipment repairs, and monitoring cost structure for all repairs. The Maintenance Coordinator will work with other departments as a liaison to address the maintenance needs of the organization and is responsible for maintaining all files within CMMS pertaining to Fleet Maintenance including legal documentation required by Federal, State and/or local Government.

Key Accountabilities

Essential Functions

  • Identify and track necessary parts as repairs are performed
  • Set up master equipment record (maintenance records, work orders, meter readings, unity costing reports, and tracking major components
  • Receive and enter all maintenance work orders and process through CMMS
  • Maintain truck files with NexTier's CMMS in accordance with DOT compliance and company policies
  • Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) files
  • Maintain fleet registrations within NexTier's CMMS
  • Maintain tracking system for maintenance/repairs hours per mechanic
  • Schedule maintenance and follow up per piece of equipment
  • Work with local management to create local procedures to enhance efficiencies
  • Maintain monthly cost tracking for maintenance including the tracking of all maintenance purchase orders
  • General clerical assistance to the Maintenance Manager
  • Fleet administration, tracking and reporting
  • Working with finance to ensure proper accounting procedures for fleet management
  • Coordination with purchasing and receiving departments
  • Work within maintenance department to stay on target
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of DOT compliance (preferred)
  • General knowledge of data entry
