Compensation Range: $26 - 30 per hour
Our client is looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is able to take on multiple projects at once. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will work under the guidance of senior designers and collaborate with various departments to create visually appealing designs that resonate with the audience and enhance their brand image. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, design savvy, has a keen eye for detail, openness to learn and innovate, and is independent but enjoys collaborating on projects.
In order to be considered you must live in the DMV area, this position is 100% in office which is located in Tysons Corner.
Responsibilities:
- Design and layout reports, sales flyers, letters, etc.
- Coordinate, schedule, and monitor all art production to include maintaining all computer files.
- Work with production staff and outside vendors and set priorities for workflow.
- Produce consistently and work collaboratively.
- Demonstrate great design skills with a strength in layouts.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Entry Level
- 1-2 years of experience along with formal training or equivalent experience, recent graduates with some work experience also considered.
- Experience with mechanical production, type, and print specifications along with space design specifications.
- Proficient in Mac hardware, Adobe PageMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and have font management software experience.
- Great attention to detail and creative problem solving with design layout.
