Position Description
This is a remote opportunity and can be based anywhere within the U.S.
Our 2023 Summer internship program is an 8 week Paid Internship that runs from June 5 – July 28. The program will join interns across the country who are supporting different department focuses at American Cancer Society. 80% of the time will be in working within the given department, with the Intern's manager, their mentor, and the team. The other 20% will be with a cohort of other interns around American Cancer Society.
Assist the Project ECHO team with development of evaluation tools and processes for ECHOS targeted for 2023. Conduct evaluation of ECHO projects active during the internship. Work with Project ECHO leadership to survey leaders of the Patient Support Pillar and field on ECHO needs and opportunities.
- Creation and development of evaluation tools

- Coordinate and collaborate with Project ECHO leadership
- Identify ECHO needs and opportunities
Desired qualifications: Master’s or above candidate in Population Health Management, Public Health, Health Economics, or Ethnology.
Position Requirements
Must be available Mon-Fri at 37.5 hours per week for the entirety of the 8 week internship program, June 5 - July 28th. Flexible scheduling may be offered on a case by case basis.
Full-time student, If you are an undergraduate student you have completed your freshman year of college;
Have a minimum of a B average (cumulative 3.0 on 4.0 scale);
Plan to continue their education in the following term/semester

The starting rate is $16 - $17/hr. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended.
