• Prioritizes all patients’ orders in order of time received and/or severity of diagnosis. Ensures that all patients are consistently informed regarding their wait times throughout their visit to ensure good patient satisfaction. - 15%
• During emergency/unforeseen events, contacts clinical area to alter patient flow to provide shortest wait time for patients. Knowledgeable in all scheduling, admissions and radiology information functions to assure a high quality of work is maintained. - 15%
• Performs order entry with scanning of support documents to include physician order documentation, if needed. Provides radiology reports via report distribution, call reports or critical results to appropriate health care provider. - 15%
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of image storage, retrieval, and printing. Provides images to health care provider and/or patient as requested. Knowledgeable of historical scanned documents and systems, offsite storage and retrieval. - 15%
• Manages outside images to include importing outside images into PACS system, storing outside film radiographs and returning outside film radiographs as needed. - 15%
• Researches, retrieves and prepares images and reports for physician conferences to include but not limited to Breast Conference, Tumor Board and quality assurance projects, as needed. - 15%
• Works closely with management to establish, implement, monitor and report patient wait time studies. Assists in the implementation of all necessary fundamental strategies to ensure the best possible patient satisfaction experience and scores. - 5%
• Successfully monitors, tracks and records patient flow activities. Reports opportunities for improvement. Ensures that account information, orders and report details are accurate and complete for billing purposes. - 5%

Minimum Qualifications

• Education - High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience - No previous experience required
