Position Summary:

The Human Resource Manager aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for our US/Canada operations. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as a liaison between management and staff and advises business executives on strategic planning. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures the effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Manager makes sure that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the various services, policies, and programs of an organization's HR department. This role would also function as an onsite face for the HR Division and support for the Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) division with compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities Area:

  • Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team.
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
  • Maintain HR systems and processes.
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies.
  • Facilitate growth of the HRO (Human Resources Outsourcing) Division as a HR SME.
  • Provide onsite support to HRO (Human Resources Outsourcing) Division helping the team in India with compliance and regulations-related matters.
  • Manages US/Canada recruitment, transfer, onboarding, performance appraisal processes.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Must have more than five years of Human Resources experience required with an understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Must have more than 6 years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations.
  • Extensive experience in handling compliance and state legislative matters.
  • Strong understanding of Employee benefits and Insurance Plans.
  • Proficiency with Paychex and similar HRIS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with team from diverse background.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
