Human Resources Business Partner

The HR Business Partner, with support of the HR Director, establishes and implements our employee relations, performance management, benefits program, compensation strategy, and employee & leadership development to ensure the business has the right level of talent to meet the needs of the business. This position regularly works with business leaders to translate the business objectives and key results into specific talent strategies and tactical priorities. The successful candidate will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams and situations.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with management in the implementation of company-wide programs and initiatives such as onboarding, learning and development, and workforce planning.
- Advises managers pertaining to company policies and practices and best practices pertaining to coaching and mentoring, communications, interpersonal and group behavior, etc. conducts investigations into employee issues.
- Encourages and provides feedback to managers pertaining to the performance review process.
- Drives employee relations. Meets with associates on an individual or group basis to communicate information, resolve issues and promote understanding of policies, procedures, pay, and benefits.
- Assists in the coordination, analysis, and delivery of various employee relations programs and projects.
- Proactively develops, recommends, and assists with the implementation of new HR initiatives, procedures, and documentation. May be assigned to facilitate and coordinate company-wide changes, communication events, programs, etc.
- Continually analyzes data and prepares recommendations for improvement opportunities.
- Other items as assigned.
Requirements
- BS Business or Human Resources
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in human resources, preferably of increasing responsibility
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, excel and familiar with HRIS systems, prefer Dayforce experience
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- HR Certification preferred
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Handles confidential information with sensitivity and compliance to company policies
