Position Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Must be capable of heavy lifting, be physically fit and be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
- Arrive to work on time ready to work a full day in adverse weather.
- Must be able to understand and follow directions quickly.
- Able to learn chipper operation in a timely manner.
- Skills in property clean up upon completion of job (raking, leaf blowing, tarp and debris hauling, etc.).
- Team player with a positive attitude and motivation to further your career with skill advancement.
- The ability to take correction and teaching well, as well as follow crew leader direction.
- The ability to organize and put away any equipment that was used on a job site.
- Able to pass drug screen and physical before employment.
Daily Preparations:
- Complete morning vehicle and equipment inspections (including oil and fluids if you are driving).
- Work in conjunction with entire crew to ensure trucks and equipment inventory are stocked for a full days work.
- Keep assigned equipment and trucks clean and orderly.
Safety Requirements:
- Use required safety equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines throughout the day and at all locations.
- Report any loss or damage to equipment to crew leader.
- Safeguard public and employees from worksite hazards.
Customer Service:
- Protect customers’ property.
- Report and damage to customers’ property immediately to crew leader.
