BLVK is located in South El Monte, CA and we are primarily a counterculture brand holding company that does marketing for the brands that we own. We currently have these brands under our belt such as Nicotine (BLVK E-Liquid), CBD (Envy CBD), Delta-8 THC (Eighty Six Brand), and Cannabis (Weedsy/BLVK Label). Our company markets and sells products worldwide in over 50 countries.

Job Description

The BLVK team is looking for a Graphics Designer that can bring a diverse set of skills, intelligence, and creativity that allows us to continue to develop amazing consumer products.

Responsibilities

Your daily tasks are to produce branding and graphic pieces for packaging, promotions, and emails for a variety of media outlets. You will also assist in planning and executing creatives for digital marketing/advertising campaigns.

Requirements

• Be proficient, efficient and produce designs within a wide range of media including social media assets for promotions, e-commerce hero banners and e-mail marketing assets, trade marketing material, merchandising, product development, packaging design, and infographics.

• Be able to curate completed assets from initial concepts to design layouts, with the guide from the Project Manager.

• Prepare and package digital files for print production including PDF proofs, bleeds, trims, color separation, cropping, for an assortment of potential products and updates to packaging in an efficient manner.

• Be able to use your creativity to curate engaging content with an understanding of its audience, and delivery methods. Always striving for improvement, adaptation, and strategies.

• Utilize Branding Guidelines to produce effective trade marketing materials from flyers, menu cards, digital guides, with the adaptation for both digital deployment & physical print.

• Create, conceptualize, and develop graphic layouts with a creative understanding of font hierarchy, consistent spacing, and messaging flow for both internal and external client-facing projects.

• Follow Brand Guidelines, including logo usage, typography, photography style, color usage, and other specific design elements to create innovative and attractive deliverables.

• Work as a team with a think-tank to explore new ideas, concepts, and effectively apply them from concept to design.

• Be able to work efficiently with project deadlines, last minute projects, and rush projects.

• Be able to effectively communicate within the team to continue to provide effective deliverables for the targeted audience.

• Maintain a fun and professional attitude, we want everyone to grow within their capabilities, skill sets, and creative mind-sets.

• Possess strong conceptual design skills with a keen sense of awareness of the industry, marketing, visual keys, to apply to current workflows.

• Experience in Graphic Design specifically for the deliverables desired (e.g., Trade Marketing, Social Assets, Merchandising, Product Packaging, Branding, Product Development)

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe inDesign.

• Highly effective working in a team-oriented environment.

• Effective working under tight deadlines, prioritizing issues, and managing concurrent assignments.

• High level of awareness, attention to detail, while working on multiple projects across different brands.

• Great communication skills.

• Team Player and Willingness to Learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
