Phoenix Industrial Services has partnered with a Medical Waste Facility in Westland, MI who are looking for Warehouse Workers.
1st Shift Available!
1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm
$$$$ PAID WEEKLY $$$$
$17/HR
Responsibilities center around the following:
- General warehouse production work (cleaning, organizing, etc.)
- Dumping regulated medical waste bins from smaller bins to larger bins for sanitation/autoclave (eights can range from 5-50lbs per bin) and some equipment we have on wheels can weigh up to 500lbs.
- Washing re-usable medical waste bins. Most bins are washed through a machine, we do hand clean a few items such as lids.
- Loading and offloading 26ft-53ft trailers with medical waste.
- Assisting with all other work provided by the shift supervisor/manager as needed.
- Prospective employees will want to be comfortable with medical waste (not squeamish towards blood/urine samples for example). Comfortable with a smelly work environment (most get used to it after a week or so, I don’t even notice it anymore), and comfortable with a warehouse environment.
