Experienced Staff Accountant Job at CONFIDENTIAL
Experienced Staff accountant with strong accounting background
Kentucky Automotive Management Inc. is seeking a self-motivated staff accountant to focus primarily as a reconciliation specialist and assist with other accounting and payroll items as needed for multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Assuring the accuracy and completeness of reconciliations and the respect of procedures
- Review daily banking, upload daily completed items and apply within DMS system.
- Reconciliation of both operating and payroll accounts for multiple locations
- Monitor banking activities in order to detect irregularities
- Diagnose repetitive root causes that create control breaks
- Complete assigned work and meet deadlines
- Work with location controllers for any discrepancies and confirm completion
- General accounting as needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of bank account reconciliation methods
- Must have degree in accounting or relevant accounting, administrative experience
- Payroll experience a plus
- Must have strong computer skills – Excel
- Reynolds DMS experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask
- Work independently
