ER Registration Representative Job at Cookeville Regional Medical Center
This position is responsible for serving as first impression of the hospital while initiating the registration processes in a professional and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients. This position will gather patient demographic and insurance information along with discussing the patient’s financial responsibilities while adhering to the EMTALA laws governing emergency room patients.
High School Diploma/GED required
Additional Experience Requirements
Previous experience preferred in a medical setting involving clerical and basic medical terminology. Minimum of one year of clerical office setting required.
