Elevated Care provides services for intellectually disabled adolescents and adults. We get to provide the unique opportunity for private members of the community to host individuals with intellectual disabilities to live in their home with their family. This arrangement provides a family like structure and natural support network. The family the person lives with becomes mentors, advocates, teachers and lifelong friends.

Elevated Care will match you with a person in need based on your preferences and the individual's needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to improve your financial situation while giving the gift of stability and belonging. The individual will live in your home and your main role is to create opportunities for the individual to increase their quality of life.

We pay generously, provide all the training to be successful in the role and give on-going support.

You must live in Salt Lake County, Davis County or Utah County.

Position Requirements:

• Be able to pass a Full Criminal Background check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have available room in your home. Shared bathroom is okay. Renting is okay.

Additionally:

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CPR/FA and Food Handlers Permit.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and up-to-date insurance and registration.
• Meet all home/apartment safety and health requirements.
• Complete pre-service training requirements online and in-person.
• Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form.
• Must be a prompt individual and be able to follow instructions.
• Natural caregiver mentality, possess emotional intelligence and a strong interest in being an advocate for individuals with disabilities.
