The Chief Physician Assistant will work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery department and responsible for entire development of the quality of care and budgetary as well as ongoing education of multidisciplinary team.

Duties:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery, the Chief Physician Assistant will be self-directed, demonstrate initiative and professionalism, and exercise expert clinical judgment to function independently in this role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English are required in order to communicate complex medical information to collaborators such as patients and their families, physicians, staff, and community health workers.

Must Have:

• NCCPA designation PANCE
• MA CSR and federal DEA required
• 3+ years experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Demonstrated leader and knowledge of cost reduction strategies
• Strong educator, operational change-maker and process improvement
