A prominent silicone adhesives Manufacturer in the Allentown, PA area is seeking a CapX Project Manager. The CapPM will manage and lead the Capex Project team, with the design, planning and implementation of various engineering, facilities, construction, continuous improvement, process and system upgrades and automation projects and programs across multiple sites.

The salary is commensurate with experience in the $135-175K range with other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the design, fabrication and installation of company machinery, equipment, processes and mechanical systems, using "Vertical Startup" methodologies and approaches.
• Research, design, and/or purchase machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems to solve complex fluid handling, mixing and manufacturing problems.
• Coordinate with the Production, Warehousing, Sales, Maintenance and Facility teams to improve machinery, equipment and mechanical system design to solve a variety of different needs for the organization.
• Manage complex facility design and construction projects and design and installations of facility equipment
• Requirements:
  • Ten (10) plus years successful experience in a manufacturing facility or consulting company as a Manufacturing Plant Engineer, Industrial Engineer or Capex Project Engineer.
  • Minimum Five (5) years plus of successful management of technical teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree required; must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Advanced level degree a plus
  • Previous experience in a chemical industry required or equivalent high speed manufacturing industrial environment.
