• Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service.
• Answer visitor questions, provide pertinent information about the site, including interpretation and orientation of facilities and local points of interest.
• Develop and execute interpretive programming for the district, such as natural resource interpretive programs and youth interpretive programs.
• Present interpretive programs such as historical tours and nature walks that explain the natural and human history of specific parks and historic sites.
• Perform social media functions for the district as needed.
• Perform graphic design for interpretive programs and functions as well as other district needs.
• Must work weekends, holidays, evenings and early mornings.
• Assist with special projects and events.
• Perform opening and closing duties, as well as janitorial services and maintenance as needed.

Preference may be given to applicants who present a professional appearance and friendly manner while providing excellent customer service and interpretive programming to the public.

**Must have a valid driver's license.
**Must be at least 16 years of age.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Good interpersonal skills, allowing the ability to interact with visitors from around the world.
• Willingness to work on a variety of assignments every day.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple projects with variable timelines and scopes of work.
• Basic operational knowledge of light equipment use, as well as hand and power tools.
• Basic safety awareness of equipment use.
• Must be able to work on your own once assignments have been received.
• Good interpersonal skills that allow the ability to interact with visitors from around the world.
• Willingness to work on various assignments at various times.
• Ability to manage and complete assignments with variable timelines and scopes of work.
• Skills using Facebook, Instagram and TikTok

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• 
  Must work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Must be willing to travel in state provided vehicle around the district to
  complete the job requirements.
