Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for working on all aspects of the accounting function including, but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting processes as needed. The position will work as part of a remote finance team and will report to the accounting manager.

• None.

Duties/Respons ibi l i t ies :

• Creates monthly customer invoices and assist in accounts receivable collections in accordance with existing policies.
• Assist in inputting and coding vendor invoices in accordance with existing policies.
• Input monthly journal entries based on accrual accounting as needed.
• Help develop and maintain customer reporting and analytics to accompany monthly invoices.
• Will provide accounting leadership with help during yearly audit as requested.
• Assist in reconciliation of various accounts as needed.
• Be an integral part of the monthly close process.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (GAAP), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Sk i l ls /Abi l i t ies :

• Knowledge of general financial accounting in accordance with GAAP.
• Proficient with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a remote team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Educa t ion a nd Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
• Three to five years of accounting experience required.
• NetSuite experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience working for private equity backed companies preferred, but not required.

Phys ica l Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
